I. General

These terms apply to the website at kon.ac and to the music released by the artist professionally known as Konac ("Konac"). By visiting this site, or by using Konac's music in anything you make, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or the music.

These terms are written for everyone: listeners, fans, and other creators who would like to use Konac's work in their own videos, streams, films, games, podcasts, or other projects.

II. Changes to These Terms

Konac may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The version on this page when you use a song is the one that applies to that use.

III. Ownership

All music, recordings, compositions, lyrics, artwork, videos, logos, and other content on this site or released under the name Konac are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. They are owned by Konac or by the labels and partners Konac releases through. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any of it to you.

IV. Label Releases

Some of Konac's songs are released through record labels. For example, Home is released through NCS (NoCopyrightSounds), which lets creators use its releases for free.

The label's own usage policy decides how you may use these songs, including any credit you have to give and any uses that aren't allowed. Please read and follow the current policy on the label's website, such as the NCS usage policy, before you use a label release.

V. Independent Releases

All of Konac's other releases are independent, for example Won't Let Go. For these songs, all rights are reserved. You need Konac's permission in writing before you use one in any project, including free, personal, non-profit, and monetized projects.

If you're not sure whether a song is a label release or an independent release, treat it as independent and ask first.

VI. Requesting Permission

To use an independent release, describe your project on the licensing page or email konac@kon.ac. Permission is only valid if Konac gives it to you in writing. It only covers the song, project, platforms, and time period agreed on, and you can't pass it on to anyone else unless Konac says so.

VII. What's Not Allowed

Unless Konac has given you written permission, you may not:

  • use an independent release in a video, livestream, film, advertisement, game, app, podcast, or any other project;
  • sample, remix, edit, speed up, slow down, or make other derivative versions of Konac's recordings;
  • re-upload, distribute, or sell Konac's music, in whole or in part;
  • register Konac's music, or anything made from it, with a content identification system;
  • use Konac's music, voice, or name to train, fine-tune, or prompt artificial intelligence or machine learning systems;
  • suggest that Konac endorses you, your project, or your product.

VIII. Unauthorized Use

If Konac's music is used without permission, Konac or Konac's partners may claim, mute, or request the removal of that content, and may take any other action the law allows. If you think one of your uses was claimed by mistake, email konac@kon.ac so it can be reviewed.

IX. Using This Website

When you sign up for email updates or send a licensing inquiry, your details are only used to send you updates or reply to your message. You can unsubscribe at any time. This site uses analytics to understand how visitors use it. See the privacy policy for details.

X. Third-Party Sites

This site links to streaming services, social networks, and label websites that Konac doesn't control. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them.

XI. Disclaimer

This site and its content are provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, Konac isn't liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this site or from relying on anything on it.
